Lil Yachty is on record as saying that he eats pizza every single day. Pepperoni is his favorite topping and he discussed his love of a slice, as well as his upcoming music, in this new Genius interview. Shot in the Stella Barra Pizzeria in West Hollywood, Yachty also talked about his early influences plus Chance The Rapper's Grammy success ("He just broke a barrier for all independent, up and coming rappers").

On the subject of his debut album, Lil Boat says the record has "kind of got an ’80s, ’90s vibe on some of the tracks. It’s called Teenage Emotions so it caters to a teenager’s everyday lifestyle: heartbreak, happiness, that vibe of when you’re waking up in the morning, getting dressed and want to dance. It’s not just bars or straight mumble rap, it goes down different lanes. I be rapping real hard on this one, I be pop singing on this, and I be talking about being lost in love on this one, then back to 'fuck you, suck my dick!'"
