The New Emoji Update Will Include A Mermaid, Broccoli, And Person With Headscarf

New updates to the emoji keyboard are coming in June, and while we still don't know exactly what the new emoji will look like, Emojipedia has come through with previews of what the future of text-based communication may hold in store. Each emoji is displayed differently on various platforms and the mocked up up images were made in an "Apple-like style" to reflect how the emojis may look when when released.

The new update will include mythical creatures, new animals and foods, representational images, such as an older person, a person with a headscarf, and a breast-feeding woman. See more mock-ups of the new emojis below.
