Ava DuVernay knows you might have some questions after the video for JAY-Z's "Family Feud" was released, or at least be completely obsessed with the fantastical visual and maybe want to live in it. Either way, the seasoned director has you covered. In a series of tweets sent out after the video was released on Tidal, DuVernary shared tons of photos, inspiration, and some insight into the new world order depicted in the short film.
Some starting points: there are two presidents in the future, which is a direct result of the current "harm being done." The nation's new laws were created by women, many of whom flew in as a favor to DuVernay and the Carters. And James Baldwin never stops being relevant, even in the year 2444.
