Ratings for the 2018 Grammys hit an all-time low

Sunday night’s broadcast pulled in a 5.9 rating in the 18-49 age range.

The 2018 Grammys suffered a 24% drop in viewers compared to last year, and a 5.9 rating viewers from adults aged 18-49 — an all-time low for the crucial demographic, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The broadcast was viewed by an average 19.8 million viewers with adjustments made for time zone, while Nielson Media's overnight ratings tracked a 12.7 rating in total viewers from households. The show's all-time low in total viewers came in both 1975 and 1995 at 11.25 million.
