An auction house in London is selling 19 videotapes containing over two and a half hours of unedited footage depicting the beginnings of Beyoncé's music career in 1992, when the singer was 10 years old. Announced in 2016, the auction has recently increased the number of tapes in the collection from 11 to 19; above, you can watch a new clip of the future pop queen performing with Girls Tyme, a hip-hop group formed in Houston, Texas.
According to Ted Owen & Co, the auctioneer holding the tapes, the professionally-shot footage was never officially released to the public and has been kept in storage for over 20 years. The tapes contain "Beyoncé’s rehearsals, performances and outtakes" shot in San Francisco and Sausalito, California, including live renditions of the songs “Talkin’ Bout My Baby”, “Sunshine”, “Say It Ain’t So” and “Sweet Young Tender." There is also footage shot in shopping mall of Beyoncé and future Destiny's Child member LaTavia Roberson. The complete package will contain "the edited master tapes and work in progress tapes from Beyoncé’s first two music video productions."
