This music video shot in a cat cafe feels like a hug

Brian Nasty’s “Thinking Of My Lover” is a warm and happy bop with an equally warm and happy video.

Brian Nasty’s “Thinking Of My Lover” is a short and sweet little ditty for basking in a sunny crush. Over the course of the two-minute track, the London 18-year-old sings variations on the same five lines over a two-step-ready, soulful loop: "Thinking about my lover / It is something I can't not do / She was right on time / So I made her mine / No one loves you the way I do." It's pleasant as hell, super repeat-able, and I'm happy to have it on deck to brighten a bummed out day, or make a sunny love-filled one even lighter and brighter.

"It's a lead up to my tape Pyjama Party out later this year," Brian said of the track over email. "It's short and sweet, like any romance I'm gonna have at this stage." Of the video, he explained it "was shot in a cat cafe because I heard they absorb negative energies. The person I had in mind was kinda feline, too, so it makes sense. The cats are my lovers now."
