Princess Nokia announces A Girl Cried Red release date

Princess Nokia will share her previously announced project A Girl Cried Red on Friday April 13, the rapper revealed on Monday.

A Girl Cried Red is Nokia's "emo mixtape," she told Dazed in February. "Yes, it's not just a little touch of [emo] or it blended into hip hop," she said. "It's real alternative music." The project's title is a reference to a lyric in the song "The Robot with Human Hair" by Gavin Dance.

Princess Nokia shared 1992 Deluxe in September 2017.
