The guy behind Fyre Fest has been reportedly charged with selling fake tickets

Things have steadily gone from bad to worse for Billy McFarland, a promoter known for being behind the chaotic Fyre Fest last April. McFarland, who pleaded guilty to wire fraud after has just been charged again with money laundering for setting up a fake ticketing scam. In court documents regarding McFarland's case, Manhattan U.S. attorney Geoffrey Berman is quoted saying, "William McFarland, already awaiting sentencing for a prior fraud scheme, allegedly continued to conduct criminal business as usual, selling nonexistent tickets to fashion, music, and sporting events."

The document continues on to explain that McFarland, "will face criminal charges on top of those to which he already pled guilty."
