With the surprise release of the joint album Everything Is Love, quotables from Beyoncé and JAY-Z are already popping up all over Twitter. One in particular from the song "LoveHappy" stands out from the rest from the normally private couple's repertoire, with Beyoncé rapping about JAYZ's infidelity and even adding some context to the vow renewal footage that found its way into the On The Run II tour.
"You fucked up the first stone had to get remarried /Yo chill... / We keepin' it real with these people right / Lucky I didn’t kill you when I met that bi.../ Aight aight!"
Despite years of subtle musical and Beyoncé alluding to it on LEMONADE, confirmation of Jay's infidelity would only come last year on his album 4:44 and interviews that would follow. Before and after that, Beyoncé has never addressed the rough patch in such a direct way-even on wax. Naturally, fans reacted to the brash bars, adding their own takes.
