One day, DonChristian and bbymutha are ”gonna have a farm together,” says Don. The two rappers, each with a singularly witty style of their own, are the kind of internet-first, real-life-forever friends that will make you want to call your bestie. ”Crash,” a single from DonChristian's forthcoming Where There's Smoke album, is a manifestation of their special connection. Today, The FADER is debuting its video, directed by Don himself and experience designer Julian Sharifi.

“‘Crash,’ to me, is about worlds colliding in this digital age — past lives intersecting, transcending time and space. That’s kinda me and Brittnee’s friendship, since we met on the internet years ago,” says Don. “This was one of the first songs I made for the album. [I] started writing about this imagined past life of ours in a swamp, and she sent me the hook. She was in New York for 48 hours and in that time we 3D-scanned our bodies to make the hologram sculptures, then did all the performance shots in like for takes. She’s one of the strongest voices of our generation.”

Watch above, and be good to your friends.
