The fourth suspect in the case of XXXTentacion's murder has been arrested by police in Florida. Trayvon Newsome was arrested on Tuesday, the Broward County Sheriff’s Office announced in a statement.

20-year-old Newsome surrendered at his lawyer's office in Fort Lauderdale. He was taken into custody on first-degree murder and robbery with a deadly weapon charges.

Police previously arrested three other suspects, Dedrick Devonshay Williams, Michael Boatwright, and Robert Allen, after indicting four men in the case.

The rapper was shot and killed in Florida on June 18. Last month it was reported that the late rapper signed a $10m record deal shortly before his death. A posthumous album is expected to be released in October.

At the time of his death, XXXTentacion was awaiting trial on charges including domestic battery, aggravated battery, and false imprisonment against his pregnant girlfriend dating back to 2016.
