Mac DeMarco announces new record label and tour

After putting music out via Captured Tracks for the majority of his career, Mac DeMarco has announced his own imprint Mac's Record Label on Wednesday. "Hi, it's Mac. We're starting a record label; it's called 'Mac's Record Label.’ My friend Jen who plays drums in The Courtneys gave me the name," Mac shared in a statement.

Along with news of his label, DeMarco announced his stateside Purple Bobcat Next to River solo tour that will kick off in November. The run of shows will come directly after DeMarco and his band tour Europe and the States through the fall.
