Birmingham rapper Slick Don has a charisma that's undeniable. His magnetism is all over "Dat Boi," an old-school grime banger packed with fast-flowing bars and comedic nods to contouring, British soap opera Emmerdale and former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger. The video, premiering above, matches his energy through a series of quick cuts catching Slick Don as he hangs out in his home neighborhood.

Speaking to The FADER via email, Slick Don said: “'Dat Boi' is about a yout from the ends, going from nothing to something, staying focused and true to their roots to make it out and do things differently. The beat is fresh and forward thinking but reminded me of classic grime I listened to when I was growing up so my bars and vibe had to match that energy."
