While visiting The Tonight Show on Thursday night, Ariana Grande revealed that she had jokingly (and pretty accurately) predicted that she would marry her fiancé Pete Davidson when the two first met over three years ago after Grande hosted an episode of Saturday Night Live.

"I left his writers’ room when we were writing skits and stuff for the show, and my tour manager was in the hallway, and I’m not a crushy person, like I don’t have crushes on people I don’t know, but I left and I like jokingly said to my tour manager, ‘I’m marrying him. 100 percent. I’m literally marrying him,'" Grande shared. "And we weren’t even friends [at that time]."

The pop star also told the story of the track named after Davidson, sharing that it was obviously about him, and that she didn't really know what to call it. "I just made it and I sent it to him, and I didn’t know what to call it. So I just called it ‘Pete,'" Grande said after explaining that the song was originally going to be called "This is about Pete Davidson."
