Kid Cudi interviewed Jaden Smith for V Magazine recently and proposed the two work on a project together.

"Oh, stop playing, Cudi," Jaden responded. "I’ll have to get a few more albums under my belt. I’m going to have to grow—but that would be the biggest dream of mine."

In a Reddit AMA just last year, Smith said his dream collaboration would be with Cudi.

The two didn't elaborate on any future music plans, but Cudi did recall encouraging Smith to sing.

"I remember trying to encourage you to sing," he said. "I remember you were experimenting with it and I was like, “Man, just sing. Just do it.”

Elsewhere in the interview, the pair also discussed fashion and how "The Pursuit of Happiness," a film Smith starred in with his father, Will, "subconsciously" inspired Cudi to create his hit song of the same name.
