Vybz Kartel protégé Vanessa Bling filps a dancehall classic on “10 Bags”

The Jamaican songstress is serious about her cash.

For dancehall fans, Vanessa Bling's name has most often been associated with currently incarcerated Vybz Kartel and then-newcomer Popcaan since the mid 2000s, but the singer-songwriter has been busy staking her claim in the male-dominated genre in her own right.

On her latest single "10 Bags", Vanessa's spitfire delivery is the perfect match for the song's production, flipping the iconic Bookshelf riddim most memorably used on Sean Paul's "Deport Dem" into the braggadocious track.

The visual is the luxury-filled event you might expect, with private jets and of course, plenty of cash. The song serves as the second single from her EP Still Standing, the singer's first project in a few years. Watch the video above.
