Kanye West stopped by the offices of TMZ for an interview with Harvey Levin on Monday. The two discussed Yandhi, the as-yet-unreleased album Kanye said was coming on Saturday, and has now been postponed till November 23. Kanye says that in two weeks he's heading to Africa to work on the project. "I felt this energy when I was in Chicago," Kanye says, "I felt the roots. But we have to go what is known as Africa."

Yandhi will be Kanye's first solo album since ye, released in 2018. Kanye described that project and the other four albums he produced this year as "superhero rehabilitation" and added, "now the alien Ye is fully back in mode, off of medication." He goes on to discuss the MAGA hat, saying that it's just one example of clothing he'll wear while he's alive. "Next time, maybe it's a full electrical suit and we just have our chakras here and everything else is mechanical."

Conspicuously absent from the interview was Van Lathan, the TMZ employee who sonned Kanye during his last visit after he said slavery "sounds like a choice."
