Janelle Monáe joins the cast of Lady And The Tramp live-action remake

Janelle Monáe is about to have another film credit under her belt now that she's officially joining the cast of Disney's live-action remake of the 1955 classic Lady and the Tramp, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Monáe is set to voice Peg, a sassy pound dog, alongside Tessa Thompson as Lady and Justin Theroux as Tramp. It's set to premiere Disney's upcoming streaming service in 2019.

The singer was also recently tapped to star in the upcoming Harriet Tubman biopic.
