Watch the trailer for Lifetime’s Surviving R. Kelly

Lifetime has shared the first trailer for its upcoming documentary series, Surviving R. Kelly. The show promises to investigate the allegations of sexual assault, psychological abuse, and coercion made against Kelly. The three-part series features interviews with some of his accusors, plus appearances from John Legend and MeToo founder Tarana Burke.

Kelly's ex-wife Andrea is among the figures who spoke to Lifetime while his ex-girlfriend Kitti Jones, brothers Carey and Bruce also took part in the series. The show will air over consecutive nights starting on Thursday, January 3.
