A number of missing persons billboards with Metro Boomin's photo surfaced on Friday in New York and Atlanta, HNHH points out.
The mysterious billboards include a bright red "MISSING" notification along with full physical description of the super-producer, who only months ago announced that he would be "retiring from rap." Also posted on the billboard is a cryptic message that reads "All heroes don't wear capes" — which doesn't give any indication of what the billboards might actually mean.
Shortly after announcing his retirement from rap, Gucci Mane shared online that he got Metro to come out of retirement for one day to work with him in the studio. Metro has maintained a low profile since.
A rep for Metro Boomin was not immediately available for comment.
