The 2018 Soul Train Awards found several of today's best R&B singers participating in a "soul cypher." BJ the Chicago Kid, Queen Naija, Luke James and Kelly Price freestyled for nearly six minutes during the performance.

Erykah Badu, who won the Legend Award during the awards show, served as the DJ for the cypher.
