J. Cole’s verse on 21 Savage’s “a lot” does not appear on CD version of I Am > I Was

A new 21 Savage verse takes its place.

21 Savage has seemingly replaced J. Cole's verse on the CD-version of his I Am > I Was intro track "a lot."

Genius points out that Cole's verse — which is on the latter half on the song — has been replaced with a new 21 Savage verse on the album's physical edition.

Savage's manager Kei Henderson took to Twitter to sort-of confirm the news, saying that the physical and digital editions of the album are different.

I Am > I Was was released on December 21, and features contributions from Childish Gambino, Yung Nudy, Lil Baby, and more. A rep for 21 Savage was not immediately available to comment.
