Headie One was one of the many U.K. rappers who enjoyed a huge year in 2018. The north London artist hails from the same area, Tottenham, as Skepta and burst into the mainstream with his two mixtapes (The One and The One Two), both of which saw him channel the darker side of the British rap sound.
On "18HUNNA" Headie teams up with Dave, whose "Funky Friday" topped the U.K. Singles Chart and catapulted him from underground favorite to genuine pop star without having to compromise. Together Headie One and Dave make a formidable duo namechecking Motorola, Gumtree, rugby, and soccer player Dele Ali over a chrome-plated beat from fellow Londoner 169.
