Independent film auteur Harmony Korine (Gummo) made his mark on mainstream pop culture in 2013 with Spring Breakers, his crime thriller starring James Franco, Selena Gomez, and Gucci Mane. His follow-up is The Beach Bum, and on Wednesday the film's first trailer was released. Watch above via Sterogum.
The film stars Matthew McConaughey as the protagonist Moondog, with additional appearances from Snoop Dogg, Isla Fisher, Zac Efron, Jonah Hill, and Martin Lawrence, who hasn't appeared in a film since 2011's Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son. From Beach Bum's YouTube description: "'The Beach Bum' follows the outrageous misadventures of Moondog (Matthew McConaughey), a rebellious burnout who only knows how to live life by his own rules."
