The rapper, real name Quantavious Thomas, was arrested on gun, gang, and aggravated assault charges on February 3. He was taken into custody along with his cousin 21 Savage, who has been accused by ICE of being a U.K. national in the United States without proper authorization. Savage was released from holding on February 12.

Young Nudy will reportedly plead not guilty to all charges. HIis attorney Scott Smith has called the arrest "a case of mistaken identity." In a statement issued after Nudy was granted bond, Smith said the rapper is "looking forward to getting back out on tour and to continue to have this incredible success performing.”
