The line-up for The Roots annual Philadelphia festival with 21 Savage and H.E.R. joining Questlove and his group on this year's line-up. The 2019 Roots Picnic takes place on June 1 in the new location of the Mann at Fairmont Park, having previously been held at Festival Pier.
The Roots will celebrate 20 years of their 1999 album Things Fall Apart in their headline set while City Girls, Lil Baby, Queen Naija, Davido, and FADER cover star Blueface will also perform across the day.
If '90s rap is more your thing there will be appearances from Yasiin Bey and Raphel Saadiq. Meanwhile, Joe Budden, the Read, Roots bandleader Questlove will record live podcasts throughout the day. Tickets go on sale this Friday, March 15, at noon.
