Megan Thee Stallion has said that her debut project Fever is due in May. The Houston rapper revealed the first details of the project in a new interview with Billboard. The interview states that Fever was originally due in January but was pushed to April by her new label, 300 Entertainment. That plan also changed, however, following the death of Megan's mom in March.

The project, Billboard reports, will introduce her alter ego: "the college partying Hot Girl Meg." The tape will feature recent single "Sex Talk," plus new songs "Shake That" and "Money Good."

Elsewhere in the interview Megan talked about being mentored by Q-Tip. According to Megan, the legendary rap figure reached out to her team in early 2019 and they met up for the first time in New York in March. Q-Tip “always encourages me to be myself and not let anybody change me,” she said. “He makes me feel good about being my ratchet self, because he’s ratchet too.”
