Cardi B and Lil Nas X both have experience of struggling to be taken seriously while riding the wave of viral fame. They have both tasted the sweet success of IRL fame off the back of their online rises, too, so in many ways they make a great pairing. That was certainly the case on Wednesday night when the "Old Town Road" artist donned his cowboy hat and joined Cardi on stage at the launch party for her Fashion Nova line in Hollywood.
As you can see in the clip Lil Nas X tweeted, Cardi was on stage while he performed the No. 1 song in the country. She is the latest A-List star to come into his orbit following a performance with John Mayer earlier in the week. Cardi B, meanwhile, was fresh off the pink carpet at the 2019 Met Gala where she told reporters she was wearing a dress encrusted with two ruby nipples worth $250k each.
