In a new clip from Kanye West's forthcoming interview with David Letterman, the rapper reflects on his late mother and the relationship she might have had with his children if she were alive today.
The interview is a part of Letterman's Netflix show My Next Guest Needs No Introduction.

“This would have been the funnest time of her life, to have those kids running around that house," he says, imagining the toys she would've bought her four grandchildren. West then reflects on a bear that his mother bought him before dying. Donda West died in 2007.

West's wife, Kim Kardashian, watched the interview from the audience. The couple welcomed their fourth child, Psalm West, earlier this month.

Season 2 of My Next Guest Needs No Introduction, including West's episode, premieres May 31 on Netflix.
