Rosalía nails it in her “Aute Cuture” music video
Another stunning visual from the flamenco-pop superstar.
El Mal Querer, the debut album from Rosalía, was a supernova-level introduction on different levels: it brought a whole new audience to the Spanish folk art of flamenco, performed by an artist capable of incorporating it into a new, experimental work of pop music. Since that project dropped, Rosalía's star has risen as quickly and as stylishly as the snap from a perfectly manicured finger, and on Thursday, she returned with a new single, "Aute Cuture" and music video directed by Bradley & Pablo. Rosalía plays the head of a crew called the Beauty Gang, who control a town thanks in part to their nail designs. The outfits, choreography, and attitude are all 100% on point, of course, and we need a feature film now. Watch above.
