Iceage, John Cale, and more to play in Korean Demilitarized Zone

The second annual DMZ Peace Train is happening this weekend.

This weekend, the second annual DMZ Peace Train festival will take place in Goseokjeong, Cheorwon (located in the Gangwon Province, nestled between South and North Korea). The festival, which aims to promote peace and unity between the two countries, has booked a number of international acts for the lineup, including Iceage, John Cale, Fijya & Miyagi, and Seun Kuti & Egypt 80.

There are obviously also a number of domestic acts due to play, including So!YoON!, Gurueng Train, and Stella Jang. Seoul Community Radio will host a stage dedicated to electronic music at the festival, with sets from Akimbo, Dguru, Co.kr, Suk, and more.
