A couple weeks back, Swedish pop mastermind Tove Lo returned with "Glad He's Gone," a whip smart kiss-off that's bound to ward off a fuckboy or two this summer. We've all got a friend that needs to hear what Tove's got to say on the track, and we all deserve a friend who goes to the distances that she does in its incredible new video.

The Vania Heymann and Gal Muggia-directed clip follows Tove as she talks a friend through a breakup. Through severe weather, a stint in prison, and even a full-blown identity transformation, Tove Lo's message is compassionate but resolute: "never no tears for that sucker." Check out the "Glad He's Gone" video above and stay tuned for Tove Lo's forthcoming album Sunshine Kitty, which is due out later this year.
