Lizzo looked back to a '90s classic at the 2019 MTV Movie & TV Awards, which aired on Monday night. Performing "Juice," Lizzo began her performance wearing a choir robe and singing the opening lines of "Joyful, Joyful," as heard in 1993's Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit.

In that film a teenage choir, including a young Lauryn Hill, were encouraged to ditch the traditional robes and perform in their regular clothes. Lizzo did the same thing, switching up her outfit as the "Juice" intro began.

"Juice" appears on Lizzo's 2019 album Cuz I Love You. More recently she teamed up with Charli XCX on new single "Blame It On Your Love" and announced a role in upcoming movie Hustlers.
