Donald Glover is voicing Simba in Disney's upcoming reboot of The Lion King, out July 19, and on Tuesday Glover appeared as a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. Glover wore a cheap-but-funny lion costume for the entire 12-minute interview — Glover revealed that he recorded his voice for the movie separately from Beyoncé, who voices Nala, and confirmed that he's currently working on the third season of FX's Atlanta.

As for his musical alias Childish Gambino, Glover held the door open for more live performances after an upcoming tour of Australia, which was rebooked after he broke his foot. "I think I'm gonna still do shows, I'm not quite sure... I really love making music." Last year Glover said the "This Is America" tour would be Childish Gambino's "last ever," and said he would be retiring the Childish Gambino name.
