New music from HAIM appears to be on its way.

All signs are pointing toward new music from HAIM. For the past week, the sisters have been teasing new material on their Instagram, sharing snippets of a mystery track and a single cover with a sunburned imprint of the initials, "SG." Last night, ahead of their headlining set at Pitchfork Festival in Chicago this weekend, Danielle, Este, and Alana took the stage at the Teragram Ballroom in Los Angeles.

At the gig, they officially debuted the new single, "Summer Girl." Before launching into the track, Danielle dedicated it to Lou Reed. Hearing the song in its sprawling six minute entirety, it's easy to hear why — accented with a breezy steadfast beat and plenty of Washington Square Park-ready saxophone flourishes, it sounds like a loving homage to the Velvet Underground frontman.
