The lawsuit over Ariana Grande's "God Is A Woman” video has been dropped

The lawsuit, brought against Ariana Grande by artist Vladimir Kush, alleged that Grande and Dave Meyers had copied Kush’s art.

Earlier this year, artist Vladimir Kush filed a lawsuit against Ariana Grande over the music video for her Sweetener track “God Is A Woman,” alleging that the film clip, directed by frequent Grande collaborator Dave Meyers, unfairly used imagery from his paintings The Candle and The Candle 2. Now, Pitchfork is reporting that Grande, Meyers and co reached a resolution with Kush out of court, meaning that Kush has dropped his lawsuit. The dispute was settled last week, on August 16th.
