Considering Tyler, the Creator's auteurist instincts, it's not surprising that he's never officially let anyone remix one of his songs. As Pitchfork notes, since his Bastard days, not a single official remix of a Tyler track has made its way to release. (He has, of course, remixed other artists' work.) Until now! Tyler has dropped "EARFQUAKE (Channel Tres Remix)," a reworking of his IGOR single by the Compton producer and songwriter who released his debut self-titled EP last August. In typical style, Channel Tres turns "EARFQUAKE" into a dewy house jam on his remix, leaving little of Tyler's original vocal. Listen to "EARFQUAKE (Channel Tres Remix)" below.
