Cul-de-sacs. Ice cream trucks. Paperboys. The outline of an average suburban neighborhood should start to form in your mind. And that's the right mindset to be in when you hit play on Garçons latest visual for "Ladybug."

The Ottawa duo composed of singer/songwriter Deelo and producer/director Julian Strangelove created a slow burning, guitar-driven song that doubles as a love song to a special someone as well as the simple life of the outskirts of a city. The hazy nostalgia imbued in the song also makes it feel like it came straight off of the soundtrack for the film Mid90s.

As told to The FADER in an email, Garçons shot the video in King City, a small town north of Toronto, "Ladybug" since "there's a lot of emotion in the lyrics. Growing up in the suburbs, that's how I always saw it. Everything is mundane and ordinary but all the emotion is hidden under the surface and it can implode at any second."
