Rage Against The Machine will reportedly reunite to play a series of shows in 2020. Forbes, who broke the news on Friday, say that the band will headline Coachella next year. The FADER has reached out to representatives for the band for comment.

News of the band's reunion started when an Instagram account for the band posted a picture of the recent protests in Chile alongside a series of live dates. Though the account is unverified at the time of writing, Forbes contacted Wayne Kamemoto, a close associate of the band, who said: "The band's social media is accurate."

RATM guitarist Tom Morello shared the same image online this week, though in a different context.

The dates include shows in El Paso, Las Cruces, and Phoenix, as well as two shows on the weekends of Coachella 2020.

Rage Against The Machine haven't played together since 2011, when they headlined their L.A. Rising show at the Los Angeles Coliseum. In 2016 Morello, drummer Brad Wilk, and bassist Tim Commerford formed Prophets Of Rage with Public Enemy's Chuck D and Cypress Hill's B-Real. Frontman Zack De La Rocha has kept a lower profile with a solo album long-rumored to be in the works.
