Before she teams with Amazon Prime for a drone show extravaganza in Las Vegas, and before her subsequent Amazon Prime Christmas special, Kacey Musgraves has yet another megawatt collaboration in the works. This one's actually not a partnership with a tech behemoth, but rather country legend Willie Nelson. The two will perform Kermit the Frog's Muppet Movie standard "The Rainbow Connection" at the Country Music Awards, as per an announcement on Good Morning America.
This is far from the first time Nelson and Musgraves have teamed up — back in 2015, they duetted on a cover of Nelson's "Are You Sure?" for Musgraves's Pageant Material; in 2016, he popped up again on her holiday album A Very Kacey Christmas. The CMAs are due to air live from Nashville this coming Wednesday, November 13.
