The video for the song shows some love to a number of women who have dedicated their lives to helping others. The Alexandria House employees talk about their lives and how they "help women and children move from crisis to stability.” A $200,000 Intentions fund has been launched alongside the video to support families at Alexandria House.

"Intentions" is taken from Bieber's upcoming album Changes, due on February 14. The album also features previous singles "Yummy" and Kehlani collaboration "Get Me." Bieber heads out on a North American tour in support of the album from May. Support on the tour will come from Kehlani and Jaden Smith. This Saturday, February 8, Bieber will perform on Saturday Night Live, an episode hosted by Ru Paul.
