Rising Canadian pop singer Tate McRae looks poised for a breakout year, backed by a promising debut EP in all the things i never said and an outpouring of critical acclaim that includes The Independent labeling her “of pop’s bright young hopes.” For Digital FORT, McRae plays us stripped back versions of her EP’s bookends, “happy face” and ‘stupid,’ backed by nothing more than a keyboard and the echo of a hallway.
