Bay Area-based dream pop trio No Vacation have been around, on and off, for five years now, releasing a couple of well-received mixtapes in 2015 before calling it quits, going their separate ways, and reforming shortly afterwards for another rash of singles and EPs. Though they've never really marked their progress with significant milestones — no full-length albums to announce a change of direction, no mammoth tours, no reviews from major publications shining a light on their work — core members Sab Mai, Nat Lee, and Harrison W. Spencer have refined and advanced their sound in interesting ways since returning from their hiatus. Last year's Phasing EP was easily their best yet, eschewing the promising but semi-ironic beach-punk of their early days in favor of smart, beguiling dream pop. It's worth a listen in full (buy it on Bandcamp!), but first check out their new video for "Days," premiering on The FADER. The video, directed by Boredom, is every bit as slick and enchanting as the song itself, and you can watch it below.
