Report: Bad Bunny canceled his 2020 AMAs performance after positive COVID-19 test

He appeared remotely to present Becky G with the award for Favorite Female Latin Artist.

Bad Bunny canceled his previously scheduled performance at last night's 2020 American Music Awards after testing positive for COVID-19, according to a report in Pitchfork.

The Puerto Rican artist was scheduled to perform his new single “Dákiti" with Jhay Cortez. While he did not take the stage, Bunny still appeared remotely to announce Becky G as the winner of the Favorite Female Latin Artist prize. Bad Bunny won two prizes himself, Favorite Male Latin Artist and Favorite Latin Album for YHLQMDLG.
