Cardi B has announced that “UP” the follow up to her gargantuan 2020 single “WAP (feat. Megan Thee Stallion)” will be released this Friday, February 5. The second single from Cardi’s as yet untitled, unannounced sophomore record, “UP” also follows Cardi’s three features from 2020, on songs by BLACKPINK (“Bet You Wanna”), Anuel AA (“La Bebe”), and Anitta (“Me Gusta”). Cardi’s last record, her debut, was 2018’s Invasion Of Privacy, which featured the singles “Be Careful,” “Bartier Cardi,” “I Like It,” and “Bodak Yellow,” the latter two of which went to No. 1 on the US singles charts. 2020 was an eventful year for Cardi: in addition to filing — and subsequently withdrawing — divorce papers to end her marriage to Offset, she also interviewed presidential candidates Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden.
