FKA twigs has shared a video for "meta angel," a crushingly beautiful standout from CAPRISONGS. In the Aidan Zamiri-directed video, twigs scales a building to hunt a version of herself, firing an arrow that flies through the city and strikes her heart. "That makes it sound so easy," she sighs. "A pretty picture with a quote / I get confused with what I really want." It's a sobering realization that snaps you out of the song's hypnotic trance. Check out the video below.
CAPRISONGS, which was executively produced by FKA twigs and El Guincho, is twigs' first full-length since 2019's much-beloved MAGDALENE. The mixtape was recorded over lockdown and features contributions from The Weeknd, Rema, Pa Salieu, Shygirl, Jorja Smith, and more.
