Empress Of last released an album in 2020 when she dropped I'm Your Empress Of. The synth-pop artist hasn't been quiet in the past couple of years, though, and has appeared on Jim-E Stack's "Note To Self" as well as launching her own Major Arcana label. Since going independent she has released an anticapitalist collaboration with Amber Mark titled “You’ve Got To Feel" plus last year's "One Breath." Today she returns with another new track, "Save Me."
“This is probably one of my favorite songs I have ever made,” she says in a statement. “I’ve never put live strings on a recording before, it was very emotional. There’s a sexual urgency. There’s a power play. I think it’s one of the sexiest songs I’ve made.”
