Kendrick Lamar has shared the visual treatment for “We Cry Together,” the penultimate track on the first disc of his May double LP, Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers. The new video co-stars Lamar and the track’s featured guest, Taylor Paige (an actress by trade) and is directed by Jake Schreier, Dave Free, and Lamar himself.

In the single-shot clip, Paige and Lamar reenact the fiery, seemingly relationship-ending fight that spurred countless online debates at the time of Mr. Morale‘s release. (Accusations fly left and right, ranging from adultery to Trump enablement to R. Kelly support.) Like the song, though, the video ends with an NSFW makeup scene. Watch it above and check out Brandon Callender’s review of Kendrick Lamar in concert.
