The business of "type beats," essentially making tracks that sound like the type of thing a big name rapper would use and selling them to aspiring artists, is a huge market and often the move that leads producer into the industry to create more original work. It is rare, however, for a producer to attract the attention of the rapper whose sound he is seeking to imitate. Step forward J. Cole who has gifted producer Bvtman a major boost and jumped on one of his J. Cole-type beats.

The track titled “Procrastination (Broke)," is streaming below and comes with a note courtesy of Cole in which he explains to Bvtman that he found the track "on a day when I couldn’t find much motivation, I was looking for anything to inspire me." He goes on to add: "Out of curiosity, I typed in ‘J. Cole type beat’ into YouTube. Yours was the first I saw. I pressed play, focused, and wrote this.”

He added that Bvtman had his blessing to share the song with the world. “I don’t want to hold onto the music like that no more. This is for you and whoever else need to hear it. God bless bro and keep doing what you do!”
