THE FADER MAGAZINE
Current Issue #55There's so much in our summer music issue that we can barely contain it all. From Estelle's breezy pop to Miles Benjamin Anthony Robinson's depressed anthems, to Crookers' out of control Italian raves. From the new cumbia of Buenos Aires to the next crop of NYC hitmakers Sean C & LV and Ryan Leslie to Abe Vigoda's LA melancholy—it's all in between our glossy covers. That's not even mentioning our stellar Gen F lineup and all the other stuff packed into the mag that is going to make our summers.

Ed Banger Tour Blog: Day 4
The FADER presents the Ed Banger Tour Blog of The FADER/Puma presents The Ed Banger Tour, Day Four:
Miami is not only about Pina Coladas, Miami it's also about business, hard work and serious shit. (my mum is reading THEFADER.COM so I need to pretend I'm here to work...) No Miami is not a US version of Ibiza with crappy clubs, East German music policy, big fake boobs all around, Miami is like a pink flamingo you want to hug but you're scared because of its nozzle! So thursday is promo/interview day for JUSTICE. The JUSTICE boys were interviewed for STUFF magazine, I think we can stop everything now, they touched the sky with this one! It's also the day of a weird rooftop party organised by car brand who wants to looks cool. It was weird to party at 5pm in our hotel, but at least we hang out with one of Ed Rec's fave DJ on earth, A-TRAK While I'm speaking about Ed Rec's fave stuff, I have to say that being invited to DJ at the Stones Throw party on Friday is something that make me and Dj Mehdi happy and proud. Those Cali smart guys at Stones Throw even have the good idea to ask Amsterdam's hustla PARRA to design their new project. We went down to PARRA's exhibition at Arrive, nice music, Rhum a go go, and it was perfect to meet the Stones Throw army. You now all know that ED BANGER RECORDS' art direction is handle by the one and only SO ME. I must say that histories like Peter Saville & Factory, Futura & Mo Wax, and Jeff Jank & Stones Throw influenced my choice of giving art the same importance as music for my label. We just don't sell beats and plastic CD box, we're here to put out modern music and sleeves that make you dream.
